I been wanting to try this place for the longest did not disappoint. My order was a hamburger and the "classic asada fries" with aioli sauce ( let me just say I must have been hungry because it slapped. It was good. The guys working at the location are friendly and I didn't wait too long for the order. A small joint in Glendale near Porto's bakery. It's a cool classic spot to add to your favorites food list

Food: ordered the chicken California burrito, build your own fries, and asada quesadilla. Chicken burrito was okay. Probably wouldn't order this again. The chicken was decent but not something I'd crave again. Build your own fries: super yummy and love that it comes with 3 toppings and 2 sauces. Ordered mine with asada and an egg on top. Was great. Asada quesadilla: flavorful and tasty. Can't go wrong with a quesadilla. Service: when I came on Monday night at 10pm, ordering was only available through self service kiosk. Ordered and paid for an extra salsa but they forgot it. Got my order fast though. Ambiance: this is a really small outdoor only "hut." This place can get pretty packed with limited seating around the hut and three tables near the pharmacy. Parking is available in the lot but it's shared with the pharmacy. There's decent amount of street parking, metered parking or paid parking diagonal and across from the hut.

You know! This place was pretty good! I was impressed that the asada meat was very flavorful and tender. I ordered an asada burrito, without beans. I didn't pay attention that there was like, jack cheese, in it too. I don't like my burritos with shredded cheese in them, but that was my oversight. The onion and cilantro were diced fresh. I really liked the flavor of the mild salsa I opted for. Very good! Only complaints would be the tortilla. It was the kind that is thin, dry, and feels like paper. Also, their order kiosk was broken. I tried entering my order, twice, and it kept getting denied. When I asked the guy working the place about the kiosk, he was a bit rude in telling me it was broken and I had to order at the window, as though I was supposed to know what.

This restaurant is just a small shack without any indoor seating, so many people just go to get take out. My friends and I went after a music festival since the restaurant is open fairly late, so it's convenient. We were served quickly, and the location was pretty popular. As for the food, the burger is pretty normal, but it still tastes quite good! The fries were a little bland and soggy though. All in all, a good pace to go to later at night!

My better half and I tried The Great White Hut before checking out a movie at the Electric Dusk Drive-In across the street. Also across the street is a spacious parking structure so no need to sweat it trying to park in their tiny parking lot. It's a little shack with no inside seating, just a walk up window for orders and a few stools at the counter if you want to eat there. Because of this, the majority of people just pick up their food to go. We ordered the Mega Carne Asada Fries and it was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Delicious but very messy so don't forget to take napkins! Overall we wouldn't go out of our way to go here, but when in the area it's a decent choice if you're in the mood for nothing more than burgers/fries or simple Mexican food.

Located on the northeast corner of W California Ave and N Orange Street, next to Central Avenue Pharmacy, fairly close to the Glendale Galleria mall. There's very limited parking in the attached lot, however, there's paid parking lots right around the corner, and across the street. I was looking for some place different to eat that wasn't the regular chain restaurants. After passing multiple chain restaurants, some inside/attached to the mall, some in the surrounding area, I stumbled upon The Great White Hut! This place definitely looked unique, especially compared to the other nearby food places. There were a few bar stools attached to the building to go along with a couple picnic bench type seating up against the Central Avenue Pharmacy. The person taking my order was friendly and answered any question I had about some menu items with a smile. I decided to go with the triple bacon cheeseburger, cheese nachos, and a coke! The burger was great, full of soo much juicy flavor, and the nachos were no joke either. The cheese was good, but I think it's the chips that just make it taste so much better. Next time you're in the area, skip the chain restaurants and swing by The Great White Hut, you won't be dissapointed!
